Wrong Envelope ("the App") is an Oscars trivia quiz game. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
1. Information We Collect
- Apple Sign-In data: When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address. Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of your real email.
- Quiz data: Your quiz scores, achievements, and Oscar predictions ("Picks") are stored to provide app functionality.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate your account and sync your data across devices.
- To save your quiz progress, scores, and predictions.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
- We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage
- Account and prediction data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS).
- Quiz scores and achievements are stored locally on your device.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon request, we will delete your data within 30 days.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
